Octavia's Bookshelf To Host Rap Legend 'Trina's' Book Signing In Pasadena

On Thursday, October 24th at 6pm, Octavia’s Bookshelf, located in Pasadena, California will host award-winning artist Trina’s exclusive book signing for her new memoir, Da Baddest. 

Katrina ‘Trina’ Taylor is a vet in the rap industry and has paved the way for many of today’s favorite artists. Now fans will be able to know the rapper a bit more as she shares her experience growing up in Miami, Florida, her rise to fame, and more. Trina has always kept to herself, but now we are given the opportunity to know more about her page by page.

Octavia’s Bookshelf was founded by book lover Nikk High, who on her website expresses how she is the friend who will loan, purchase, or recommend you a new book. She was always fascinated by books that were written by authors who looked like her. She expresses that her book store is a space where people can find community, drink a cup of coffee, and get lost in a good book.

Registration is required to attend. Purchasing one or more books counts as registration for the signing event. Book purchases must be made prior to the event, as there will be no on-site sales. Make sure you come with the full name and order number. Book sales are limited to 4 per person. Attendees will be capped at 150.
